Can’t get enough high school basketball and need to get once last glimpse at some of Anamosa’s top seniors stars performing one more time?

The WaMaC Conference girls and boys All-Star Shootout could be your ticket Saturday, Mar. 16.

Seniors Nicole Sanborn and Cassidy Smith will represent the Raider girls in the WaMaC All-Star contest at Benton Community High School in Van Horne set to tip at 5:30 p.m. while Spencer Barnes will suit up for the Anamosa boys, with their All-Star game to follow the girls’ contest at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Sanborn and Smith will be on the East Division All-Star team withBrette Correy (Western Dubuque), Paige Koerperich (Western Dubuque), Macy Rice (Mount Vernon), Danielle Kennedy (Beckman), Becca Deutmeyer (Beckman), Amanda Soloman (West Delaware) and Lexi Biehl (Maquoketa).

The West squad will feature Sara Petrelka (Benton Community), Beth Thompson (Benton Community), Katrina Sindt (Benton Community), Carlie Wilhelmi (Center Point-Urbana), Shannon Stone (Center Point-Urbana), Jessica Woolridge (Center Point-Urbana), Chelsea Ratchford (Independence), Beth Knapp (Marion), Paige Perkins (Marion) and Lindsay Schlabaugh (Williamsburg).

Barnes’ East Division boys team will include Travis Gudenkauf (Beckman), A.J. Smith (Central DeWitt), Blaise Waller (Maquoketa), Joe Weeks (Solon), Ryan Kunkel (Solon), Luke Palmer (West Delaware), Devin Brooks (West Delaware) and Brendan McCoy (Western Dubuque).

The West squad will take to the floor with Noah Fisher (Benton Community), Josh Jirak (Center Point-Urbana), Dane Salow (Center Point-Urbana), Josh Martinac (Clear Creek-Amana), Ryan Cooksley (Independence), Isaac Frazier (Marion), Max Kearns (Vinton-Shellsburg) and Grant Sagan (Vinton-Shellsburg).

The evening will also feature a 3-point contest for the boys and girls as well as a slam dunk contest for the boys.
