Jones County Supervisor Wayne Manternach is an ethical and compassionate leader with an exceptional work ethic.

He chairs the nine-county Mental Health Regional Governing Board of the East Central Region which is the largest region in the state including Benton, Bremer, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Johnson, Jones and Linn Counties. The Mental Health Region has a budget exceeding $28 million. Supervisor Manternach established himself early as the person best qualified to lead the region and has maintained the leadership position since the Region’s inception on July 1, 2014.

Supervisor Manternach is well-liked and respected by the 30 plus employees of the region. He listens carefully, asks the right questions, and is respectful to the other Regional Board members, as well as the families and the people served by the Region.

He makes decisions with an eye toward the quality of mental health and developmental disability services while balancing the efficient and effective use of county tax dollars. He has an exceptional understanding of the budget and mental health law as well as county and state regulations. He also has an exceptional ability to deal with people in a kind and compassionate way.

Supervisor Manternach would be extremely difficult to replace. I urge you to vote for Supervisor Wayne Manternach for Jones County Supervisor.
