Well, I see my favorite phone/internet provider has advised me of a $6 per month rate increase for my 1.5 megabytes per second internet service. What do I get in return for all this excellent, modern cutting-edge technology? A new modem? Faster service? Better customer service? No. No. No! Same old crappy slow service. Funny nobody at CenturyLink can tell me why the rates are going up. The only reply is that I am not a “price for life customer!” It’s time that customers of CenturyLink are entitled to modern 2020 Internet service. The day cannot come soon enough when I can be a customer of Maquoketa Valley REC.
