anamosa pumpkinfest big wheel races: drawing another eAGER crowd
It’s annually one of the things Anamosa and area youth look forward to each and every fall.
Winning a coveted ribbon at the Anamosa Pumpkinfest Big Wheel races, which the Anamosa TTT Society once again hosted at the Maquoketa Valley Electric Cooperative Saturday, Oct. 4, in Anamosa.
The Big Wheel races were divided into four divisions of three, four, five and six-year-olds with an eager crowd of area youth that saw each class have multiple divisions.
Jaxon Meyer claimed the title in the three-year-old class edging out Sullivan Mohamed in the finals while Kaden Ray topped a big field of four-year-olds winning in the finals over Craig Siebels and Ryker Casper.
Keegan Casper led the way in the five-year-old class topping Samuel Curtis and Henry Ingram in the finals.
Amelia Greff was the top rider among the six-year-olds winning the title after edging Hanna Vajgert in the finals.
