Pumpkins tumble down Walworth Hill during the Anamosa Pumpkin Roll on Oct. 2, kicking off the city’s annual Pumpkinfest. A total of 205 pumpkins made their way down the hill as crowds cheered from the sidelines: this year’s top three winners, Heather Weers, Brett Seeley and Kate Buchholtz.

Keeping with this year’s theme, “Gourdassic Era,” a dinosaur passed out eggs with special treats in the center of them to several children the morning of Oct. 4.

A wide variety of tractors were on display by the Wapsi River Tractor Riders, an unofficial group of 30-40 enthusiasts, who get together for tractor rides. Heading the display was one of the group's founders, Bill Calson, of Anamosa’s 1954 Ford 960, left, on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Anamosa Pumpkinfest.
