During National Night Out, around 23 groups signed up for the resource fair portion of the evening, ranging from local health services to youth organizations.

During the National Night Out event, Pam Goodyear, a staff member from Jones Regional Medical Center, carefully measured Palmer Walker’s head to ensure that he received a properly fitting bike helmet. Families attending the event have the option to receive free bike helmets.

Complimentary hot dogs, chips and cookies were available and grilled by the Anamosa Rotary Club.

The Anamosa Fire Department had many families stop by and tour one of their trucks during National Night Out.

Several different agencies participated in Anamosa’s National Night Out, including Anamosa Police Department, Jones County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa State Patrol, Anamosa Fire Department, Anamosa Ambulance Service and UnityPoint - Jones Regional Medical Center.
